Tamar began her piano studies at the age of 8 with Laura Schindler in St. Louis. She has continued to study periodically in Johannesburg with Pauline Nossel. She has recently ventured into a Jewish contemporary genre with her original arrangements including other musicians and singers. The compositions of Yonatan Razel features highly in her selections as they are a beautiful example of classical music genius meeting the Jewish soul. Music itself is in fact a most poignant expression of our “nexus” point – where our highest dreams and aspirations enter our hearts and minds and then turn into sound waves, dance steps and light made tangible.
